Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports around the teenager age. She trained in boxing kickboxing BJJ, and wrestling. She made her professional debut at 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents ended in less than a moment. In the following weeks she took on WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen had previously defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and defeated her by an unanimous vote to remove an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to 8-1. Aspen has signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 saw her rise into the Bantamweight division after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her impressive grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a the third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) in which Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. In her last fight for Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She beat Lina with a ground and pound victory in her second fight. Then, in her third fight she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger in a way that was even more spectacular. Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the first round and received a performance of the Night prize. Her debut fight was during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Her victory was an unanimous decision and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award was awarded to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Then she bounced back to win Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in the UFC which was broadcast on ESPN 7. The last time she fought for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
