
Catherine Jane Ford, born 5 December 1969 is a famous English comedian writer, actress, and actor. Tate has been nominated for seven times for the BAFTAs as well as an International Emmy Award, and numerous other awards for her performance in BBC sketch comedy series The Catherine Tate Show (2004)-2007. Tate played Donna Noble in Doctor Who's Christmas special 2006. She then reprised her role as the Tenth Doctor's frequent companion on the fourth season. [2] After The Catherine Tate Show's success, Tate played Joanie Taylor ("Nan") on the BBC One comedy series Catherine Tate's Nan (2009-2015), and in The Nan Movie (2022). In 2011, Tate started playing a regular role as Nellie Bertram on the U.S. edition of The Office. Tate played the role for a long time until the end of the series. She portrayed the part as Miss Sarah Postern in the BBC One sitcom Big School (2013-2014) and was the voice of Magica De Spell in the animated show DuckTales (2017-2021). Tate performed six roles in Hard Cell, the Netflix comedy series she co-wrote as well as directed.
